It is with great anticipation that I write to you in the hope that you / your colleagues may recall the offer of a table cricket set supplied by The Lords Taverners, free of charge some 10-15 years ago!
It is highly likely, as delivery/staffing/sport objectives changed that your school set may have found itself hiding at the back of the store cupboard!
- Small wooden bat
- Small cricket balls, one weighted with a ball bearing
- White Ramp
- Green boundary boards
- Green corner pieces
- White Fielding sliders
- Yellow score markers
- Red clamps
As this school year approaches the end you may be intending a stock take and I would be grateful if you could keep an eye out for any complete, or incomplete, table cricket sets the school may be in possession of.
If you do have a set I would be most grateful if you could action on of the following options:
Option 1: If you are in possession of a Full Table Cricket Set
BENEFIT FROM FULLY FUNDED COACHING
Keep the set and receive up to 6 hours of fully funded coaching for one of your classes with a view to entering the County Table Cricket competition held in February 2018, or
Option 2: If you are in possession of a Full Table Cricket Set
AND DO NOT WISH TO RECEIVE COACHING
Indicate this by return and I can arrange collection, at no charge to the school, at a mutually agreeable time. This set can then be forwarded on to a school entering the competition for 2018.
Option 3: If you are in possession of a an Incomplete Set
If you have an incomplete set please advise me of this and I will arrange collection. Once all sets have been returned and full sets recompleted I can then return it to either yourselves to take up the offer at 1 above, or I can send it to a school who enter the competition for coaching and practice.
