Infant Games Success in Shepway!

More than 200 key stage one children were treated to a day of non-stop sport at the fantastic Three Hills Sports Park, playing adapted games of 10 different sports! The Kent Sport inspired initiative of the Infant Games ran for the first time in Shepway on the 15-June, masterminded by the Shepway School Games Organiser (SGO) Sarah Greene.

Chance to Compete 2017

The much anticipated dates for Chance to Compete 2017 have now been confirmed! Chance to Compete offers state secondary schools an alternative format to traditional 11 aside cricket, with 8 per side incrediball matches and the opportunity to develop the skills and confidence to move into an entry level hardball format.

New girls teams enter Lady Taverners!

The Spitfire Ground played host to six schools in the first round of the nationwide Lady Taverners girls indoor cricket competition this week. Included in the entrants were local schools Kent College, Canterbury Academy and Herne Bay High whilst teams travelled from as far as Strood to play in the Kent Cricket training facility.
