As part of our arrangement with you, Kent Cricket has certain obligations under privacy laws, including the Data Protection Act 1998, to notify individuals how their personal information will be used. We are the Data Controllers for all information provided by email, telephone online or via other available communication platforms. Our purpose in relation to collecting data is to develop the recreational game of cricket in Kent.

The following data collected will be stored and utilised for the specific use of Kent Cricket in relation to Cricket Business including profiling. It may be published in the public domain, online and/or printed formats. Data may be shared with the ECB, other third parties related to Cricket and commercial businesses’ linked to us (see website).

• Contact numbers (including email address)

• Marital status

• Back account details and other financial details

• Medical information if applicable

• to communicate with you in regards to up and coming events

We take security of personal information seriously. We employ an IT company to safeguard information and provide firewalls and assist with any other technological issues which may arise to ensure information is protected appropriately.

Updating and correcting information

You may update or correct any information about yourself provided to us by email or telephone. In order to do so, please provide us with your name and contact number followed by your Email address, Postcode or Date of Birth to avoid unnecessary mistakes (i.e. member s of the public with the same name). If you are providing up to date contact details about another person, you may be required to provide us with proof that you are authorised to disclose the other’s information.

Your rights to access your personal information

You have the right to receive a copy of the personal information we hold regarding yourself. There may a small admin fee for any request made. The current fee is £10.00.

Each individual has the freedom of choice as to whether you provide us with sensitive personal data.

You have the right to request that we stop processing your personal data at any time. Please note that this could however, affect our ability to provide you with information relating to our products and services.

Online bookings and payments

Our Contract

After placing an order to purchase a product online, an email will be sent confirming receipt of your order and the details of the order. This email represents us accepting your offer to book a place on one of our programmes or events.


Refunds will not be available on course bookings except when extraordinary circumstances can be evidenced to us who will action at our discretion. Please be aware that any refund payments, once established that the refund is entitled to, can take a minimum of 14 working days to be authorised to your bank account due to the administration process required. We thank you in advance of your understanding and patience in such matters.
